Ingredients

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips or chunks


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Cream softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

  3. Beat in eggs one at a time. Add vanilla extract and mix.

  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.

  5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until a soft dough forms.

  6. Fold in chocolate chips.

  7. Chill dough for at least 30 minutes.

  8. Scoop dough onto lined baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart.

  9. Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are golden and centers are set.

Notes
